Hope Update (COVID) | Wednesday, October 21st, 2020
Hello church, thank you for your continued prayers. I continue to recover from COVID and thankfully so do others who have tested positive.
Our leadership team met by Zoom last night and we made the decision to close the church again this weekend out an abundance of caution. Honestly, we struggle with this decision, because like you, we love to gather together, to encourage one another, to worship together, to pray for one another, and to hear the ministry of God's Word together. Thank you for understanding! Please join us online this weekend for our worship service. We plan to be open on November 1st with me back in the pulpit, Lord willing.
Given our recent experience with the virus, we again want to remind you to love one another and consider others by wearing a mask, washing your hands, and using caution to help prevent the spread.
Psalm 27:14 is a great word for us today, "Wait for the LORD; be strong and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!"
You are loved,
Hope Update (COVID) | Saturday, October 17th, 2020
Good morning, I want to let you know that we have had two additional reports of positive COVID-19 test results of those who attended Hope last Sunday. That makes 5 positive results, and we have also heard from a few others who have reported they have symptoms. Our leadership team feels wisdom tells us it is best to close the church this weekend.
We have asked those who have tested positive, or have symptoms to communicate with all they have come in contact with and encourage them to get tested if they have symptoms. We also encourage you to communicate with me or David if you test positive so we have updated information.
Even though the church will be closed, we will still hold an online service with Chris Jennings leading us in worship and David Gannon bringing a message.
We will continue to communicate with you as information becomes available so you can make the best decisions for your family. Thank you for your understanding and we pray healing for those who are sick and protection for those who have not been infected. Thank you for your understanding, your prayers, and your continued support.
You are loved,
Isaiah 26:3 "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."
