SMALL GROUPS

PURPOSEFUL DISCIPLESHIP

SMALL GROUPS AT HOPE

We value purposeful discipleship with an emphasis on spiritual community. One of the ways we encourage this is by gathering weekly in a small-group setting for fellowship, prayer, the teaching God’s true Word, and accountability.

Modeled after Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-16, Acts 2:42-47, and Romans 12:3-8, small groups serve as an environment where authentic relationships are cultivated and believers have the opportunity to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."

Acts 2:42-47, ESV

HOW LARGE ARE SMALL GROUPS?
Small groups typically meet in groups of 10-20 people. Because our desire is to see genuine relationships built, small groups are intentionally kept under 20 people or so.

HOW OFTEN DO SMALL GROUPS MEET?
Currently, we have different groups meeting weekly throughout the valley. Small-groups generally gather at a hosts home one night every week, except for the last week of the month.

HOW DO I JOIN A GROUP?

Fill out this form if you are interested in joining a small group or email us at smallgroups@hopebibleaz.org. A staff member will reach out to you with more information soon!
