The Need for Forgiveness

February 2, 2020 Preacher: Pastor Bill Borinstein Series: Ephesians | Christ, the Cornerstone

Passage: Ephesians 4:25–5:2, Matthew 18:21-35

Living in a fallen world means that fallen people will do hurtful things. Many of us live with the consequences of our own sin, other's sins, or both. The hurt we are left with can negatively impact us in many ways and, if not properly dealt with, can negatively impact others. The apostle Paul provides insight for healing when you are impacted by sin, Ephesians 4:32 say, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." We can read that at face value and think, "easier said than done". Yet if we don't forgive, we may find ourselves in great bondage and in great despair. Join us for an important message from Ephesians 4:25-5:2 and Matthew 18:21-35 on The Need for Forgiveness.
